Hey! We’re Stephen (Steveo) and Porscha, and we’re the O’Neals! After dating for 97 days we got married in December 2018. From the moment we said “I do” at our budget wedding we committed our lives to getting and staying debt free.
In 14 months, with blood, sweat, and a LOT of tears we paid off $98,169.43 in consumer debt. It definitely wasn’t easy and booyyyyyyy do we have stories to share about our messed up financial lives before we started kicking our debt. We made a lot of mistakes going through life and we want to help people not make those same mistakes and share some tips we learned along the way.
Now that we’re consumer debt free, have a fully funded emergency fund (because well.. LIFE), we’ve started sharing our story. We were Financial Peace University coordinators at Elevation Church in Orlando, we are both small business owners, and Stephen is a Ramsey Solutions Master Financial Coach, but most of all we’re just people who want to help other’s learn to win with money.
Our intensity to get out of debt changed our lives and we know that our story can help change yours too. We are regular people, we didn’t have any savings or rich uncles who helped us out, we put in the work and changed the way we handle our finances with one goal in mind:
To live a life of financial freedom!
